In December 2014, I did an excellent tour with off-road Vietnam. We Did the full northern loop, 10 days on the bikes, the tempo of the tour was relaxed and we had plenty of time to stop take photos and enjoy the surrounding country side (spectacular). It has to be said that the bikes are a little old, however they were more than capable for all terrain and conditions we encountered, our guide was well able to fix any problems that we had. The accommodation was the best available in every area we visited. Generally very good, clean and always friendly staff. Thanks to our guide (Vuong) we had spectacular food on all our stops, he was able to get the best variety of local food at every stop. Vuong was very well prepared and thanks to him, half way through the journey we were able to make some changes to our itinerary and take in even more of the north east than we had originally planned, he had great local knowledge and was of huge assistance throughout the journey. Anh was also a great help before the trip, all our mails were answered straight away and always with great information to help us through the preparation. The price was well worth it. Thanks again to Anh and Vuong for a great trip.

We are arriving in Hanoi on the 21st of december at night and leave to HCM on the 29th. We would like to explore the surroundings (maybe even go to Sapa as we heard it’s beautiful) by motorcycle and also would like to include Halong Bay (1 night on a boat). Not sure if we can combine all in the motorcyle trip or if you would recommend doing a 3 day trip with you guys and then arrange halong bay seperately? We are looking at a semi-guided tour package. Please let me know your options / recommendations and pricings based on this. I wont be riding, but my husband will. So we need 1 motorcyle for 2 people. Looking forward to your reply.
