We upgrade our bike fleet regularly in order to make sure that our customers have the best choice of bikes available in Vietnam. There is usually no extra charge for upgrading of bikes under 250cc, but over 250cc due to heavy tax rate imposed by the government.

Here are some bikes - still quality by Vietnamese standards and we did all the jobs ourselves - that we sell out to clear the way for better ones. All come with two months engine guarantee. There are cheaper bikes at Dich Vong second-hand markets in Hanoi but the sellers are well-known for replacing Chinese imitation parts which will result in poor performance after just a few days of purchase.

Made in 1998 in Indonesia, single cylinder, 5 speeds, 120kg. Front disc brake, back drum brake. Restored in late 2007 with new piston 160cc and rings and currently in very good conditions (by Vietnamese standard). Odo: ~50,000 - ~80,000km. Several bikes left at 1,200$US (~50,000 km) or 900$US (~80,000km) with ownership paper. Bikes available to be picked up from early March of 2009 in Hanoi.

The improved features on this model over the identical black engine GL 150cc are five gears, reinforced kick starter support, auto-adjusted cam chain system which allow you to start the bike as easy as a moped scooter and minimize maintenance works.

Made and registered in 2002 in Vietnam by a leading Taiwanese motorbike company, not a Chinese copy of a Honda. Brown color, comes with mirrors, front basket, new exhaust pipe. In good conditions. Bikes made in Indonesia always have a much more reputable engine than bikes made in Vietnam and a little bit more reliable than bikes made in Thailand.
