Negli ultimi anni il mercato europeo degli scooter ha conosciuto una crescita vertiginosa, originata in gran parte dal desiderio di quanti si spostano per lavoro di evitare i frustranti ingorghi cittadini delle ore di punta; ma in parte anche dal rinnovato fascino dello scooter stesso - mezzo rapido ed economico, ideale per il lavoro e per il tempo libero. Gran parte della crescita del mercato si è in passato concentrata sui "cinquantini", la cui gamma si è evoluta anno dopo anno, differenziandosi sempre più nel design e nei costi.

Ma anche le "ottavo di litro" hanno registrato un forte incremento, motivato dalle esigenze di quella parte della clientela che necessita di una cilindrata superiore e di prodotti tecnicamente più completi.

Inoltre, un contributo alla diffusione dello scooter lo ha certamente dato l'unificazione delle normative in sede europea, regole che consentono la guida anche con la sola patente "B" (automobile) di moto con cilindrata compresa fino a 125 cc e di potenza non superiore ad 11 kW (15 PS).

Bisogna oltremodo ricordare come, all'affermarsi di mezzi di trasporto più moderni, abbia fatto seguito una generale evoluzione dei gusti tecnico-estetici della clientela. Molti appassionati non si sono infatti più riconosciuti nel concetto di scooter "base", ma hanno rivolto invece la propria attenzione verso mezzi contraddistinti da un miglior comfort ed estetica, e da un più favorevole rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Altre istanze privilegiate dagli acquirenti sono inoltre un maggior senso di sicurezza nella guida e la comodità negli spostamenti anche con un passeggero a bordo.

La Honda, decisa a affermarsi anche in questo nuovo, prestigioso e florido mercato, ha così progettato un nuovo scooter contraddistinto da un design tipicamente europeo e da prestazioni di notevole spessore. In cima alla lista delle caratteristiche peculiari del prodotto, era presente anche un livello di emissioni ultra-ridotto, in grado di mantenere fin da oggi il mezzo conforme alle restrittive norme europee che entreranno in vigore nei prossimi anni. L`idea gui- da a cui gli ingegneri hanno fatto riferimento per la progettazione del nuovissimo @125, è stato quello del "Neo-European Scooter", caratterizzato da un design "Neo-Emotional".

Per abbinare la raffinata e suadente silhouette di questa nuova creatura con un nome al passo con i tempi, si è scelto il simbolo @ ("at"), che non solo catalizza l'attenzione sulle vincenti linee della carrozzeria, ma conferisce anche al nuovo @125 il tagliente fascino della modernità.

HONDA CREA SCOOPY 50cc


Honda Crea Scoopy Automatic Classic Scooter 50cc Ping The CHF50 is a scooter manufactured by Honda. It is known as the Metropolitan in the United States, the Jazz in Canada, the Scoopy in Australia and the Crea Scoopy in Japan. It can reach a maximum speed of just less than 40 mph (65 km/h) on flat ground and a maximum speed of 43 mph downhill. The Metropolitan has typical gas mileage of 80–110 mpg (US) (2.1–2.9 L/100 km).

While the CHF50 is one of several 49 cc scooters offered by Honda since the early 1960s, it is notable for its "classic" Vespa-inspired styling and modern mechanical parts. In the United States, it debuted as the Metropolitan in model year 2002.

The CHF50 has a large lockable center compartment, located below the seat, which can hold a helmet with room to spare. It also features locking handle bars which can lock the wheel at a 45 degree angle to make it harder to push.
