Cancellation Self-guided tours and motorbike rentals • Full rental fee deposit before collecting the motorcycle(s)/motorbike(s)/scooter(s). • No deposit refund. Traditional tours • 30% of the total price (but no less than 200$US) charged for any cancellation within two weeks of the date of departure. • 50% of the total price (but no less than 300$US) charged for any cancellation within seven days of the date of departure. • No deposit refund. • No refund for cancellation during the tour. Special tours Tours which requires specific logistics → Long tours (14 days++) or large group tours (5 people++) → Tours with bike or hotel upgrade → Rides with member(s) joining → Tours with options (customized) • 50% of the total price (but no less than 300$US) charged for any cancellation within sixty days of the date of departure. • 100% of the total price (but no less than 500$US) charged for any cancellation within seven days of the date of departure. • No refund for cancellation during the tour. • No deposit refund. → In all cases, our bank charges will be deducted from the refund plus 100 USD for tour preparation fees. → The local exchange rate is applied (price in USD) • In the event of cancellation of one or several people, refunds will be made according to the clauses defined by Offroad Vietnamฎ. → The remaining price for the participants will have to be re-evaluated depending on the number of remaining participants. → Furthermore, if additional participants join the original group number, the total price will be re-evaluated. • Should one (or several) people leave the tour once it has commenced, all logistical expenses (telephone, insurance, transport, etc) will be charged to the departing participants. Insurance • Our tours do not include personal insurance. • Each participant must have individual repatriation insurance and provide information of the nearest representative office to Vietnam which we can contact in case of emergency. • We ask each participant in our tours to sign a disclaimer stipulating that he/she contract personal insurance and that Offroad Vietnamฎ will not, in any circumstances, have to assume the responsibility or the expenses caused in the event of accident or disease. Any expenses incurred by Offroad Vietnamฎ in such circumstances will have to be reimbursed. Riding On The Trip • Don't break speed limit in Vietnam, no more than 60km/hour. The issue is not about the fine from the traffic police but your personal safety and bike reliability. Again, by your standards most of our bikes are not new conditions but in Vietnam they are the best you can find. • Don't ride on one wheel (free wheelie). • Always use clutch while changing gears (for manual clutch motorcycles). • Follow the guide, ride behind him. • If a bike is technically broken, Offroad Vietnamฎ will replace with the same type of bike or the next available model. There can be discount or upgrade charges applicable. If you violate one of the above conditions, Offroad Vietnamฎ can get your motorcycle and send it back to Hanoi. You will travel on your own back to Hanoi. Ride safe and ride responsibly!
